Did you know that Zoom has a great integrated interpreting feature? Teams also offers this feature, but it can be more difficult to implement because Microsoft has higher security requirements and interpreters cannot hear each other, which makes it impossible to conduct a bilingual debate so that you will need a separate module that works with Teams, or a second platform for translation. How this works? An external interpreting platform is used that integrates seamlessly with Teams or another meeting platform. Alternatively, the participant who
needs translation can join the original meeting and receive the translation via, for example, a WhatsApp call. In all cases, everyone participates in the same meeting, but listeners can choose to listen to the translation instead of the original audio. This way, everyone can participate.
